Picayune Nature Club is a non-profit organization for the bebfit of Picayune strand State Forest and this event iws intended to promote the forest and enhance public knowledge and particiation. It is also for raising funds to help the Florida Forest Service out with things like accessibility for public use, invasive plants, monitoring of the flora and fauna and cleaning up trash among other things.
