The Speak Foundation

HOW WE BEGAN AS A PATIENT LED ORGANIZATIONWelcome to The Speak Foundation. We are the first patient-led organization for muscular dystrophy, established in 2008. This foundation began as a wish when Pantene sponsored the “Beautiful Wishes” campaign. Founder Kathryn Bryant submitted her wish, which became a reality to help children, teens, and adults with disabilities! The mission of the Speak Foundation is to improve the quality of life for those living with muscular dystrophy and to provide a voice for those living with rare diseases. The Speak Foundation is proud of our current projects such as the National Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Conference and our other programs.
