I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry, a Master’s of Arts in Chemistry, and an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. I have over 11 years of experience working in the chemical research field, and over 20 years teaching Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, and Anatomy/Physiology at the secondary and the University level.Certain experiences earlier in my life caused me to realize that living with constant stress and anxiety was not serving me any justice. In 2013, I took the first step towards developing my life’s true purpose, and became a Level I Reiki Practitioner under the guidance of Sandra Fraser. Twenty-one days later, I went through the training with her to receive my Level II Reiki Practitioner attunement. Finally in 2014, I received my training and attunement from Sandra Fraser, to Sekhmet Reiki at the level of Reiki Master. I have since, received placements and ignitions (attunements), from William Rand, to the Usui/Holy Fire Reiki lineage. I have practiced Reiki on my self and others for 10 years, and have trained and attuned over 70 students to Reiki Levels I & II.“My combination of science education and chemical research has helped me to fully appreciate the application of Reiki as a vital healing energy modal.” My goal is to offer Reiki training to those working in the medical professions (hospitals, hospice centers, cancer centers, physical therapy centers, ect.), so that they can help their patients reduce stress and heal.In 2017, I was led to create a nonprofit to help others “Participate in their own healing”.
