Meet the OrganizerGreetings! My name is Tonya Wallace, a former elementary school principal, assistant principal, instructional reading coach, science coach, and classroom teacher withover 21 years of experience in educationwith a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I have had the privilege of serving children, families, and educators at every level of the school system—and my passion has always been rooted in creating spaces where EVERY CHILD feels seen, safe, and inspired to explore.Over the years, I have witnessed how traditional classrooms can sometimes limit the spark in children who need to move, build, ask questions, and create. This is why I am launching Explore & Build with STEM Explorers — and eventually, a private school—that centers hands-on learning, innovation, and character-building, especially for communities that are often overlooked.This camp is a glimpse into the student-centered and purposeful learning environment I believe every child deserves. We lead with love, curiosity, and structure, helping children grow not just in knowledge, but in confidence, teamwork, and resilience.Because when children feel safe to explore, they grow in ways we cannot imagine.Thank you for considering this experience for your child.
