The Transit Smokehouse and BBQ is located in Nortth East Edmonton, in what was commonly refered to as "Packingtown". The area was known as the second-largest stockyard in North America. Built in 1908, the Transit has gone through many changes, and in its current configuration, it is a full service Smokehouse with live entertainment every night. With historical pictures from the provincial archives hanging on the wall, to the crazy items we found in the basement, it's like taking a trip back in time.We focus our efforts on bringing to our stage the best blues and country the city and province has to offer.
