Triangle Women's Network: Our storyFounder, Michelle Myers, and Co-Admin, Debi Epler, started a Facebook group, called Triangle Women's Network, with an aim to be different. We wanted a place where we could talk about our business or post about job openings, ask for general advice or community recommendations, post a funny meme or an inspirational quote, and generally feel free to be ourselves.What we created is so much more!In January 2023, we started our first monthly meetup. About 10 ladies showed up, and we connected on levels we had never connected on at other networking events before. It felt like we had started a friendship circle more than it felt like a networking event. There were no rules or expectations, just women helping women. There was a mixture of cultures, employment status, industries, geographic location, and personalities. It was perfect, so we decided to try other event types to keep the momentum.By March of 2023, we had 20 ladies at our 3rd Thurs monthly event and have hosted several other events, including a Lunch and Learn and Headshot Happy Hour.
