Empowerment Through Martial Arts and Self-defenseTuff Love Fitness (the sponsor of Tuff Love Self Defense) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing accessible and affordable self-defense, martial arts, and fitness training for people in Oakland, California and the surrounding Bay Area. Tuff Love Fitness was created by a team of four female martial artists with the goal of promoting martial arts for populations that may be underserved by many traditional martial arts programs, including women, the LGBTQ+ community, assault survivors and people of color.Tuff Love Self-Defense's mission is to provide free self-defense training to women and girls throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
