Unfurl Journeys with Sound

Helen was trained by ANSU School of Sound in the Borders (Now SoundSphere Scotland) in 2019, gaining a distinction in Creative and Therapeutic Sound for Communities. She runs regular events across various venues in Fife, and has a beautiful ‘unfurling’ studio from her home, where she runs new moon circles, 1:1 sessions and small group work.Her training was done in a ceremonial style; with a large aspect based on supporting her own healing journey and purification; an essential component to help carry out sessions from a deeper, cleaner and more heart based & intuitive place (Always a work in progress!).Helen can mostly be found amongst unfurling ferns in Spring, marvelling at the spirals and magic that nature can create. She thrives most while being outdoors, and hopes to create events in tranquil spaces in nature.She found her voice and musical journey during a particularly poignant and painful time in her life.At this time, she was lucky enough to take refuge off grid, living in a log cabin in South Lanarkshire for a year. Here she was able to connect to nature, herself and emotions, and to others around the fireside.She discovered sound healing to be a huge comfort in her life, and a place where she could just turn up as she was, lay down, and unfurl.Memories, trapped emotion, pain and energy could be shifted, and she felt deeply restored, soothed and relaxed afterwards. She wanted to be able to offer this to others, and is humbled to have been able to do this over the last few years.Her travels have taken her back to India 6 times since her 20's, inspiring her deeply, and infusing her sound healing style with a more sacred and spiritual essence.She often uses her shruti box and most recently her harmonium, to create sacred soundscapes and mantras.
