Washington Section, NCNW, Inc.

The Washington Section was organized in 1943, eight years after Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune founded NCNW in 1935. It was the first Section chartered in the District of Columbia and is one of 34 community-based, youth, and collegiate sections in the Metropolitan Area.
