Hi! I'm Brie, the CEO (Chief of Empowerment) for Work Life: College and Career, a coaching firm dedicated to guiding students through their college, career, and life planning journeys. My journey began in college career centers, where I witnessed a common challenge: students arriving on campus enthusiastic about their chosen majors, yet often unprepared for what lay ahead. Equally concerning were those who came in feeling lost and unmotivated, unsure of what they wanted to study or how to make the most of their time in college.I often encountered students asking, “What can I do with this major?”—a question that came far too late in their academic journeys. I realized that many had chosen their majors without fully understanding the coursework, the internships they would need, or how to engage on campus to build a strong resume. This lack of preparation led to confusion, wasted time, and missed opportunities.Determined to change this narrative, I made it my mission to empower students from day one. I provide the tools, resources, and actionable steps necessary for intentional college and career planning. My goal is to ensure that students enter college with a clear understanding of their paths, helping them choose relevant electives, secure impactful internships, and make the most of their college experience.Brie's previous roles include Senior Career Specialist, Career Exploration Coach, Career Curriculum and Course Designer, and an Advisor for Deciding Students with the University of Colorado. She currently instructs various career-related courses for the University of Colorado and is a Professional Resume Writer, trained Interview Coach, certified Design Your Life Coach, and holds a Master of Arts in Training & Development.
