WallACE a Navy retiree, and disabled Vietnam veteran who has spent most of his life helping others. As a child, he never forgot the day that his mother divided a candy bar between seven siblings so that everyone would not go without the pleasure of satisfying their sweet tooth.Sharing his desire to help others, he joined the Navy, and he did not hesitate to volunteer as an Armed Force Radio Television Service announcer. His assignment was to help keep the morale of thousands of service members deployed, who are homesick, missing loved ones, and getting custom to their new military life. He offered his off time after working his normal schedule of 12 hours. He requested and was selected to serve as a Naval Recruiter, receiving the honors of recruiter of the year for six years in each of the six years he recruited. Volunteers his free time in the community earning him the distinguished award in the State of Kentucky as a "Kentucky Colonial".After retiring from the Navy was gainfully employed by the Veteran Administration as a claims agent until he transferred to the Virginia Employment Commission when his career was shortened by several serious illnesses and chronic diseases.A stroke, cancer, kidney failure, and several other life-threatening surgeries did not prevent him from assisting others. Realizing most chronic diseases can be prevented, this only motivates him to raise awareness based on his and others' learning experiences. 2011 he formed a 501c3 non-profit organization "Health & Awareness" promoting life-learned lessons, and information by encouraging individuals to take an active role in their health care; share information that doctors don't have time to share or think they know and raise awareness to help individuals at risk for kidney disease better understand what can be done to slow down or stop the progression and avoid dialysis, kidney transplant or death. His target market is the underserved, seniors, and those suffering due to health care disparity.is
