The Saginaw River Valley Model Railroad Club will accept good railroaders to join us in the fun filled hobby of model railroading. Since our first public display in March 1979 we have grown to become one of the finest modular railroad clubs in the Midwest. Among our different modules you can see an operating Drive-In movie theatre, grainary, brewery, zoo, circus, operating container facility, campground, farm, mountains scape, urban city, quaint suburban neighborhood, a refinery, a river canyon, a rail yard and engine facility, a gravel pit, trailer park, working drawbridge and swing bridge and much much more.*We also have very interesting trains that show up on our rails, from early steam engines to the giants, from the early diesel locomotives to the modern power you see today. We also include the ultra modern bullet trains from Europe and the children's favorite Thomas the Tank Engine and many of his friends! We've even had people walk up to the layout and ask if we would run their favorite engine they've brought from home, so they can enjoy seeing their engine pulling some of our more then 200 freight and passenger cars around our layout and they can get pictures of their equipment on a grand railroad.
