Evan was only seventeen years old when he passed away unexpectantly on August 24, 2022. Even though he was so young Evan had already touched so many lives. His bright smile, kind demeanor and big heart shown through in everything he did. Evan had many passions but none bigger than his commitment to helping others. That was never more evident in his passion to become a Firefighter. He was enrolled in the Butler Tech Fire Sciences Program and had passed his Fire Certification at the end of his Junior year. He was starting his senior year when he passed away but had already made plans to continue his post-secondary education in the field of paramedics. In a quest to continue Evan’s legacy we are focusing on using the proceeds from this event to award scholarships to local high school graduates looking to enter a training program in the Fire or EMT field.
