Holly Rigby is a writer and university lecturer. She has written for The Guardian, The Independent and the TES, and she has also appeared as a political commentator on current affairs programming on the BBC, Sky News and Channel 4. Her book Miss: when a teacher breaks the rules about the ten years she spent as an Inner London English teacher will be published by Repeater Books in early 2025. She is currently a Lecturer at City University in Narrative Nonfiction Writing. She holds a Masters in Comparative Literature from UCL, and a Masters in Education Policy from King's College London.With a belief that everyone has a story worth sharing, Holly fosters an environment where all writers feel free to explore, experiment, and express oneself authentically. She understands that creativity flourishes in an atmosphere of acceptance and affirmation, and she empowers her students to explore their writing without fear.
