The Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered March 31, 1973, and we have been hard at work in our community since that time. We are devoted to transforming our community through sisterhood and community service. We focus on volunteerism, advocacy, public service, and social action. Our mission is public service, with a primary focus on the African American community. Some of our activities include an annual scholarship fundraiser, scholarships to high school seniors, service to pre-schools and senior citizen centers, voter registration and political awareness, financial literacy workshops, nutrition and health awareness programs, and volunteerism with the local food bank and other vulnerable individuals, families, and groups in the community.
