Holy Nativity Church, serving the parish of Mixenden and Illingworth in North Halifax! We are a friendly Christian community who accept and welcome everyone.Serving the estates communities of North Halifax we are passionate about church in the places that often get forgotten. We are a community made up of local people who love our area and want to see everyone thrive. We believe that there are riches in our communities that should be shared and celebrated. We are dedicated to serving all and to celebrating the creativity, imagination and spirit that makes this a special place to live and worship.In 2023 we were lucky enough to receive financial support from the UK Shared Prosperity fund to enable us to embark on an ambitious project to develop our building and all of the wonderful things that happen here 7 days a week.The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
