EASTERN INDIANA HUMAN RESOURCE ASSOCIATION (EIHRA)A LITTLE HISTORY - MORE THAN A HALF OF A CENTURY'S WORTHThe Association was founded in 1942 as the Richmond Personnel Association and in 1996 changed its name to the Eastern Indiana Human Resource Association. In 1993, the Association became a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the largest national organization dedicated to the support and development of human resource practitioners.Through more than fifty years, the goal of the Association and its members has been to provide a means for the interchange of ideas, experiences, and methods concerning the effective practice of human resource management. College students are also eligible! Our speakers who are selected for chapter meetings present to the membership on the latest developments and progressive methods in human resources. Most of our professional development activities throughout the year are SHRM certified.
