My name is Aimee and I am an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher. My primary focus is building a friendly, welcoming community and holding a safe space for people to show up as they are.I am fascinated by the workings of the human body including anatomy, the mind-body connection and the science of breathing. I am constantly learning and love using this knowledge base to support and empower my students to cultivate a practice that works for them.I found yoga at a young age and would regularly attend classes with my mum. My love for yoga grew during my time at university when I discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. I completed my 200 hour John Scott teacher training in 2020 with Claire Berghorst. Since then I have taught a mix of online and in person classes including short form Ashtanga Vinyasa classes and restorative classes.
