How it All Started...In 1985, armed with every penny in my bank account, I took the plunge into the DJ world, investing in two Technics 1200 SLK Turntables and a Realistic Mixer. Countless hours were spent honing my craft in my parents' basement, crafting mixtapes that became the soundtrack of our school days. Joining forces with 'Funky Beat Productions,' we set dance floors ablaze in Oakville's local banquet and union halls, battling rival DJ groups from Mississauga, Toronto, and Etobicoke, pushing the boundaries of mixing and scratching to create unique and infectious beats that got kids grooving.A Renewed Passion...As life led me through high school and into University, I reluctantly parted ways with my equipment to focus on academics and my burgeoning professional career. However, the DJ spirit never truly fades. In 2017, I rekindled the musical flame, spinning retro tunes at retro 80s and 90s themed reunion parties, all ito raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. To date, I have hosted 5 events raising over $124,000 for the cause. I enjoy mixing 70s, 80s and 90s classics with more modern tunes to create a fun experience for all. Once a DJ, always a DJ; the passion endures, and the beats keep on playing.
