The Motherhood Group (TMG), founded by Sandra Igwe in 2016, is a trailblazing organisation dedicated to empowering Black mothers and birthing people. As pioneers of the UK's Black Maternal Health Conference and organisers of Black Maternal Mental Health Week UK, TMG has become a cornerstone in addressing racial disparities in maternal health outcomes.TMG offers a range of culturally relevant programmes, including antenatal and postnatal support groups, mental health workshops, and educational seminars.
