The Child, Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) offers support to young people, their families, and to other professionals. We help young people between the age of 10 to 18 years old who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health or want to explore assessments to learn more about their brains, emotions and behaviours. This can be the way you think and feel, how you feel on the inside or the emotions that you feel and how much they affect you.We can also help young people explore and learn about their brains, sometimes looking into whether they are neurodiverse. Neurodiversity means that you think, learn, communicate, and do things differently to others. Common examples of neurodiversity include autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. We offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and young people suffering from:emotional difficultiesbehavioural difficultiesrelationship difficultiesdevelopmental difficultiesother mental health issues
