Ultimately as we have seen tragically over the years in gloved boxing, it is this damage to the brain’s blood supply that causes such deadly and life-changing injuries. Please click here for more informationIS BARE KNUCKLE BOXING LEGAL?Despite what a lot of people think, BKB is legal providing you have permission from the local authority and relevant police force and the appropriate safety measures in place.WHAT ARE THE RULES?The rules of Bare Knuckle Boxing at the same as Professional Boxing as set out by the British Board of Boxing Control, a few distinct differences. Obviously, the fighters do not wear boxing gloves, however, they are must wear hand wraps. In professional boxing there is a 10-second count with a standing 8 however in Bare Knuckle Boxing this becomes a 20 count with a standing 18 and all rounds last for two minutes and non-title fights are contested over three rounds, and title bouts are contested over five.HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?We are always looking for new talent, if you have a history in combat sports and want to mix it up without gloves in the purest form of all fighting sport then this is for you.
