Cantabile's mission is to connect humanity through choral music. We are a warm and open community of 50 voices spanning seven decades in age. We are a Boulder-based auditioned ensemble with a wide range of backgrounds—from musical professionals to motivated amateur singers. For us, singing is a way to connect with each other and find rest from our chaotic lives, in an environment where one is accepted and valued. And sharing with others through performance is how we bring the emotion and joy of choral music to the broader community.Our concert programs are intentionally curated to stimulate reflection and to challenge audiences and singers to think more broadly about how music informs, educates, and betters our world. With each concert, we ask the question: “Why are we making music this time?”
