Enable Ireland has provided disability services in Kilkenny for over 40 years. Enable Ireland is the lead agency for the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT 3) in Kilkenny City. This means that Enable Ireland is responsible for the running of the Children’s Disability Network Team. The CDNT’s have been set up as part of the National Progressing Disability Services (PDS) Programme.The Network 3 Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT3) is a partnership between the Health Service Executive (HSE), and Enable Ireland. The team is made up of: Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Administrative support and a Children’s Disability Network manager. Children’s Disability Network Team 3 (CDNT 3) provides supports for children whose difficulties or delays impact significantly in a range of areas of their day to day life and whose needs are deemed complex. The child and their family require a team of professionals working closely together in an interdisciplinary manner. We are based out of two centres and your child may receive services in either of the two centres on St. Joseph's Road or the Kilcreene Complex.
