A Charity who work with parents and families whose children have
been stabbed, victims and have been involved in gangs, youth violence and knife crime. The group was set up by a group
who have lived experience. Unfortunately, knife crime is on the increase in Stoke-on-Trent and with stats from the
ambulance service showing that Staffordshire is the 2nd highest for stabbings and knife crime in the county. We are working tirelessly to prevent this and to help combat gangs, youth violence and knife crime in Stoke-on-Trent. We
have been given the go ahead to complete knife sweeps in our city and have already removed 28 knives from our streets,
these were found hidden in our local parks. We volunteer in the evenings and weekends to provide support for families
who are currently experiencing the horror and trauma of gangs, youth violence and knife crime. We currently support 2000
families online and over 50 families through our face-to-face support groups.
