The Down Syndrome Centre Cork was founded in early 2017 in response to a recognised need in the Cork region for the provision of support and facilities for families of young children with DS.Founded and run by parents, the purpose of the Centre is to provide 3 core functions.1. Diagnosis support for parents2. Early intervention services3. Building lasting friendshipsWe operate out of Forge Hill in Cork City and currently have c. 100 children availing of our services. All services and interventions provided by the Centre are HEAVILY SUBSIDISED in order to give all Children with DS the best possible start in life.As we currently receive NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING, we are 100% reliant on the generosity of the public to allow us to continue to provide these important services.So any money raised €2 €20 €200 - WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED
