This is me in the photo, Alicia Davies / Ma Ri Atu Ma; the face behind Hush Hour (formerly Earth Song Sound Healing).I'm a musician, artist, and writer who discovered the healing power of sound after I experienced a major life trauma in 2012. Fate had stepped in, it seemed, and soon - very soon - it became clear that this was to be my future path, and all the barriers to doing this work were rapidly dissolved. My deep connection to the natural world first led me to name my business Earth Song Sound Healing. During the pandemic, I rebranded to Hush Hour to reflect the fact that I had also started to offer podcasts and meditations set to music designed to encourage people to take time out to find some inner peace and tranquility. Now I hold regular gong and sound baths, with guided meditations of my own creation - often channelled in the moment - to deepen and enhance the experience. I incorporate whatever theme seems appropriate for the time, which will always be based in the imagery of Nature, and might even include mythical beasts or spirit animal wisdom.Here are some testimonials:“Wow I don’t know where to start.
