Through active participation and real-world application, children gain the confidence to express themselves fluently in Mandarin—beyond just reciting words from a textbook.Who We AreChinese Learning Adventures is co-led byZhen Zhen Laoshi (韦珍珍老师)andJolyne, two passionate mothers committed to making Mandarin learning fun, immersive, and practical for children.Zhen Zhen Laoshi (韦珍珍老师)Zhen Zhen Laoshi is an experienced Mandarin educator with over 12 years of teaching in both international and local education settings. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education and multiple teaching certifications, including:• ✅ International Chinese Teacher Qualification (国际汉语教师资格证)• ✅ Singapore ECDA L2 Certified Early Childhood Educator (DPT)• ✅ Certified Parent-Child Education Instructor• ✅ Montessori, Orff, and Miao Shi Duo Certified TrainerWith more than a decade of experience in Mandarin language instruction and early childhood education, Zhen Zhen is passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences. She was a key educator in Tiny Play Club’s Mandarin immersion playgroups, where her interactive approach made language learning enjoyable. Her global teaching experience and research ensure that Chinese Learning Adventures is rooted in educational excellence and a deep understanding of how children learn best.Zhen Zhen has taught in China’s vocational and higher education institutions, worked as a curriculum developer, and currently serves as a board director and senior consultant for multiple educational institutions in China. She also mentors at Guangxi Normal University and has conducted research visits in Beijing, Finland, Australia, France, and the Netherlands, bringing global best practices into her teaching.JolyneJolyne is a Singaporean mother and the founder of Tiny Play Club, a trusted community that has hosted over 300 family-friendly events. After going through Singapore’s public schooling system from kindergarten to university and facing challenges in learning Chinese, she understands the struggles many parents face with bilingual education.As a homeschooling mom of two trilingual children (born in 2020 and 2023), Jolyne is passionate about making Mandarin learning more accessible and enjoyable. When she began teaching her son Mandarin at age four, he initially resisted. However, through an immersive and authentic learning approach, he made remarkable progress in just six months and is now conversational in Standard Mandarin. Inspired by her personal journey, Jolyne has created a program that combines effective teaching methods with real-world language experiences.Jolyne is dedicated to providing immersive learning opportunities that foster curiosity and confidence in children. Through Tiny Play Club, she has built a vibrant community focused on early childhood learning.Together, Jolyne and Zhen Zhen combine their expertise to offer immersive Mandarin learning experiences that inspire children and foster a lifelong love for the language.Join us on an adventure where language, culture, and nature come to life!
