Established in 1960, the CLA (formerly Coin Laundry Association) is the largest trade association dedicated to the self-service laundry industry. Headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., CLA is a national not-for-profit trade organization and our members include laundry owners, prospective laundry owners, equipment distributors, service providers and manufacturers. CLA is guided by aBoard of Directorsand a professionalstaff.Over the past 60+ years, CLA has helped thousands of laundry operators get the most from their businesses. By working together, the laundry industry can continue to grow in size, quality, profitability and service to the public.In 2006, CLA started theLaundryCares Foundationto give back to the communities that have supported the self-service laundry industry. LaundryCares was established as a charitable 501(c)3 foundation, with the mission of providing laundry services and education to those in need.
