Clermont High School grads and attendees gather to socialize and salute all those who graduated from the school from its beginning in 1881 through the school’s repurposing to a middle school in the 1990s. The most recent site of CHS is on East Avenue, Clermont, is now Aurelia M. Cole Academy. The first CHS was across East Avenue and is now Cypress Ridge Elementary.Giving back: As part of this homegrown celebration, the Clermont High School Reunion Committee created a scholarship fund to benefit Lake County high school students. Over the last three years the Clermont High School Reunion Committee has awarded more than $13,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors who are related to CHS graduates. Our scholarship program is funded through the generosity of our alumni donations. Please consider making a contribution or remembering CHS Scholarship Fund in your estate. The funds are held at the Community Foundation of South Lake (www.cfslc.org - a charitable organization) which also provides the application oversight. You can make the contribution right on the website.
