Green Conference and Green Economics Retreat. Team Building and Sharing

Recalibrating our relationship with nature and reflecting on our green journey and values

Our lovely relaxing event here at our Education Centre on a farm in Glastonbury, Somerset, at the The Earth Spirit Centre amidst fields and a lovely green building entirely covid friendly and safe -with doors along the side.

Day 1 December 15th 2

Arrival in the evening

- Activities walks hot tubs sweat lodges, fields. star gazing- introduction to the summer school and conference workshop weekend-Enjoy the lovely rural location

Discussion about our relationships with nature and the perspectives of inclusion and diversity in the environmental movement. Latest information about the environmental movement.

Day 2 Saturday 16th

Reflections on what green and environmental means in 2022 with todays challenges and solutions and recalibrating our role in nature - Social prescribing and mental health- green really helps- what does it mean -? where does it fit on our journey?

Briefing Green Reports from our United Nations Delegations to COP Climate Conference COP26 Glasgow and SB56- in Bonn, and to IPBES -Ecosystems and nature, Bonn. and planning for COP 27 in Egypt UN climate conference and COP15 in Montreal about biodiversity

Day 3- l 2023 -Sunday 17th December 2023 thoughts

Relaxing in nature -Creativity- activities speeches workshops, outings walks hot tubs sweat lodges, fields - being in nature- what does it mean?

Does the environmental movement reflect humanity and if not what changes would we decide to recommend

Feminists in the climate movement -discussion

Preparing for our 20th anniversary -ideas and campaigns for inspiring change

Next steps on our green journey- sharing- growing - what do we take home? Bringing our green journey into enhance the other parts of our lives.

What ideas would we like to take to policy makers and the United Nations now. ?

This is your chance to advise and to provide expert ideas and recommendations and inputs.

Practical issues.

Each booking /registration is for conference fees -( excluding optional food and accomodation)

Food and accomodation can be paid for separately -all vegetarian and mostly grown in the centre garden.

Acommodation is a mixture of lovely en suites, yurhts, caravans,tents, dorms, - in a field or in the centre buildings- we discuss with you what you prefer.
