Sisters, Jennifer MacDonald and Suzanne Benoit, share a love of live music and a desire to share it with others. A Musician and a Chef by trade, the two teamed up to create the Songwriters and Storytellers Society and host music events in Pomquet, Antigonish Co. NS. The funds raised are used to operate and renovate the venue they manage, the Pomquet Parish Hall. Their work involves both running the Concert Series, and organizing renovation projects. Their hard work is matched by that of passionate volunteers and supportive community members to create a show that is a warm and friendly, community run event. They look forward to planning many music events in the years to come.
