Inspired by her own journey to swim across the English Channel for her 50th birthday, Amy founded Amy’s Swimventure to support women dealing with body image and aging challenges. Recently, her training revealed the severe impact of water pollution on health, prompting her to expand the initiative’s focus. Amy’s Swimventure now encompasses two main pillars. Water Conservation and Women’s Empowerment reflecting Amy’s commitment to both personal and environmental well-being.Our Vision is that Amy’s journey becomes a catalyst for widespread environmental awareness and action. Through partnerships, Amy will foster meaningful connections and mobilize resources to benefit communities along various U.S. waterways. Amy embodies resilience, determination, and a commitment to environmental stewardship. The regimen needed to complete swims in various waterways exemplifies the spirit of overcoming challenges and inspiring positive change both environmentally and personally. We envision a movement where women, inspired by Amy’s courage and determination , embrace their own potential, overcome societal barriers, and contribute their unique perspectives to their communities.
