Mossburn Community Farm was established in 1990 and today cares for a wide range of domestic animals, including horses, cattle, goats, birds, sheep and pigs. As well as providing a safe and comfortable sanctuary for the animals in its care, Mossburn seeks to improve the lives of people within the community, principally through volunteering opportunities and animal assisted therapy sessions. The Farm is also open to visitors as a visitor attraction, and welcomes group and school visits.
