The Shaman is one who walks between the Spirit and earth realms on your behalf and on behalf of the greater Good. Through her writing, private sessions and group classes and trainings, she serves her mission of bringing you closer to full alignment and true embodiment of your Self. I work with many of our helpers from the Spirit realms, angels, guides, masters and your own Higher Self to guide you through whatever is blocking you from that alignment.Athena is a mother, writer, teacher and practicing shaman in the quaint beach town of Lewes, Delaware who enjoys mothering, playing, dancing, laughing and being with nature.She was called to shamanism after a decade in architecture, after painful loss and mysterious illness. When all hope was lost and with nowhere to turn when traditional western medicine provided no relief, Athena opened up to the recommendation of a friend to visit a shaman. That day not only was did she find healing, but her life was changed forever. Athena had seen Spirit and visions of others’ stories since she was a small child, and even as a child had always held a deep fascination with the metaphysical and psychic phenomena. She studied yoga, astrology, tarot, buddhism and anthropology ‘for fun’ in her teens and twenties, but it wasn’t until after that visit with the shaman that Athena gave herself permission to step into full alignment with her Self, to own the gifts of sight and feeling that had run through the bloodlines of the women in her family for ages.A forever student, Athena has trained with Lewes based shaman Terri Pippin The Medicine Woman, Karuna Reiki Master and Psychotherapist Dr. Toni Hemmerich of Trinity Healing and Wellness, completed Sandra Ingerman's Medicine for the Earth training in Washington DC, trained with world renowned past life therapy regressionist Dr. Brian Weiss and gone on to guest instruct at institutions like the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck NY.Athena takes a contemporary approach to the ancient ways, integrating modern tools into the traditional practices of journey and ceremony. Her soul retrieval, past life, and ancestral work is a tandem journey regression experience where she fuses shamanic journey with traditional regression techniques. Influenced by Tibetan Bonpo shamanism and Yoga her intention is to hold a warm and gentle sacred space for realization and transformation to unfold.She serves her mission of bringing you closer to full alignment and true embodiment of your Self through her writing, private client work, group sessions, workshops and trainings. As a medium and intermediary, Athena works to connect us with many of our helpers from the Spirit realms, angels, guides, masters and our own Higher Self.With a growing client/student base and desire to help the greater collective in their rise toward the light and back to their true Selves, Athena now brings her Soul Medicine program into the virtual, to you right at home… She wants you to know that you are not alone in this journey; We are all in this together.
