The Devon AHP Faculty was set up and launched in January 2022. The creation of AHP Faculties was initially proposed in the Interim NHS People Plan. The aim was to improve the coordination of activities designed to encourage the supply, education and training, and retention of AHPs and the AHP support workforce. AHP Faculties play a key role in helping shape the next generation of AHPs and the AHP support workforce by coordinating activities to support their supply, education and training.
