Alice Park Community Garden can be found behind Alice Park Nursery. An offshoot of Transition Larkhall, the community garden is open 24/7. We promote local sustainability and participation in free events and workshops, most demonstrating resilient gardening techniques, crafts using natural materials (willow, plant dyes). We are a vegan, organic, no-dig garden. Features on site include raised beds, espalier fruit trees, a nature pond, insect hotel, a social area/seating, a forest garden, shed and greenhouse, a covered outdoor space. The project is run by volunteers. Volunteer sessions currently run every Sunday between 11-1. All welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
