Hello! I'm Ssanyu (aka Sunny) & my intention is to guide students who are seeking a place to be their authentic selves. I offer guidance through intelligent sequencing, genuine inquiry, passionate encouragement, and collective synergy. With the intricacies and fluctuations of living, creating a sweet space for freedom of being is my priority. I encourage you to have fun, be curious, catch the beat, share your spark, receive support, take rest, and laugh - loudly. I continually seek wisdom and understanding while honoring nuances of the human condition. I place lots of love and careful thought into all services.I became a 200hr certified yoga teacher in 2019, after a transformational yoga retreat.I realized I wanted to provide a space for freedom of humanity & personal autonomy, when working in the field of healthcare. My background in clinical training exposed me to people's wholehearted beliefs, which are multi-faceted and very intricate. My goal is to allow students the opportunity to explore their personal beliefs & needs in a safe space.I've accrued over 500 hours of various trainings, including Power Yoga, High Intensity Fitness, Slow Flow Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Anatomy, and Guided Meditation. My practice of teaching yoga is based in encouraging the essentials for the practice (breath, body, mind, and spirit), and continually strive to be a catalyst for renewal, joy, and movement of energy.
