Portland Metro Composite (PMC) is a non-profit organization that works to get more kids on bikes. It serves 6th-12th grade student riders in the Portland Metro Area. In an effort to get more underrepresented kids on bikes, we have started an annual fundraiser that amplifies BIPOC voices. In 2024 we hosted a showing of the Dine film "In the Dirt" on the Navajo Reservation. In 2025 we are hosting the showing of "Monte: Can't Stop, Won't Stop" and "Becoming Ruby" in an effort to celebrate the African Diaspora. Money raised has gone to scholarships, coaching fees, and outreach events for both PMC and WarPaint Outdoors, an indigenous-led nonprofit working to make the outdoors accessible for all.
