Prana Yoga Retreats is a husband wife team, leading retreats from the heart since 2016.We created Prana Yoga Retreats as a way of sharing our love of yoga lifestyle, creative vegetarian food and travel. As highly experienced retreat leaders, we hold retreats in Ireland and abroad with many students returning year after year.The word Prana comes from Sanskrit and means ‘life force’. Leading busy modern lives often results in a disconnection from our bodies, our breath and a depleted life force. Our retreats and events are designed to compassionately enable everyone to reconnect and restore their prana and invite a sense of ease to all aspects of life.Claire has been a devoted yoga practitioner for over 15 years , A Senior teacher, qualified since 2015, her biggest joy is to share yoga and deep rest as a path to more balanced and conscious living. Claire is one of the few Certified Relax and Renew® Teacher’s in Ireland and studies regularly with her beloved teacher, Judith Hanson Lasater. She has also studied with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Sally Parkes and Claire Osbourne.Teaching regularly in Ballincollig, Cork and online, Claire’s students enjoy her calm and reassuring teaching style. She offers a compassionate and progressive approach which enables both beginners and experienced yogis of all ages to feel comfortable and welcome.She often describes her teaching as , ‘Yoga for Life’ believing that when we practice with awareness and respect for the cycles and phases of life and nature, our yoga will truly allow us to live from a place of balance and ease.
