Since its inception in 1999 as part of the Georgia Family Connection Partnership, Columbia County
Community Connections (CCCC) has dedicated 25 years to ensuring that children in Columbia County are
safe, healthy, educated, and part of stable, self-sufficient families. CCCC achieves this through a variety of
programs and opportunities designed to help children become engaged and productive citizens of Columbia County. Some of these programs include free afterschool programing and summer camp (Dream Academy),
weekend food sacks for children (Food4Kids), Host Homes for Homeless Youth, Work Experience for Teens,
Drug-Free Communities, and many more.In 2005, recognizing a critical need, CCCC initiated a community collaborative that continues to meet
monthly. Together, local leaders from 37 businesses and organizations leverage data to address the
community's challenges by identifying needs and resources, setting goals and priorities, evaluating programs,
and measuring results.
