Honeybees and pollinators

Pollination of plants consists of flower production, pollinator activity, as well as, favorable environmental conditions for successful fruit and seed production. Variables do occur with simple and complex flowers. Timing of bloom and availability of pollinators may disrupt this process. Cross pollination, among other strategies, helps plant scientists develop higher crop yields or more attractive characteristics.
