Hello. My name is Kasia Slabon, I am originally from Poland and have been living in Ireland since 2005. I am passionate about helping people to lower stress level and enhance wellbeing and relaxation. My experience in the field has started in 2007 when I started to train as a massage therapist, receiving training and experience in different forms of massage therapy, including Thai massage, Hawaiian bodywork, pregnancy and childbirth massage, sound massage. From 2007 I became interested in sound healing and working with sound to aid relaxation. I was developing my skills to work with children, including play therapy, kids yoga, massage in schools, mindfulness for children and sharing sound and music with children. In 2011 I have started facilitating Sound Bath sessions across Ireland, in Galway, Mayo, Roscommon to aid in relaxation and help to introduce meditation and mindfulness with the help of sounds of gongs and singing bowls. I also teach mindfulness to children, teenagers, mindful childbirth preparation and massage classes. I have been working with corporate and organisations across Ireland, delivering stress management, mindfulness, and sound relaxation sessions.I run two projects: Sound Magic Ireland, and Mindfulness Haven Galway, which is my meditation studio, also available for rent. It is a venue specifically designed and equipped for meditation and relaxation classes but also available for all sorts of holistic and wellness workshops.Having experienced a bumpy road myself with anxiety, stress, PTSD, postnatal depression and panic attacks I am dedicated to helping others in similar situations. Supporting them and sharing my experience and knowledge with as many people as I can.I believe that we hold the power to our own well-being and health and sometimes we just need someone to remind us about the light we still have in us and all we may need is someone to hold a space for us with care and compassion so we can heal ourselves. I promote relaxation and facilitate that relaxation space where people can find ease and comfort, to restore and rejuvenate body and mind.
