Taking place during the February Bank Holiday weekend, the festival showcases a diverse lineup of local, national, and international artists, with a particular emphasis on lighter electronic genres such as Ambient, Electronica, and Melodic House.Taking place in unique venues throughout the city—from traditional spaces to unconventional locations—the festival provides a programme that invites exploration and discovery. Taking inspiration by the popularity of events that finish before midnight, it is the goal of the festival to appeal to all age brackets, in particular enticing the over 30s to rekindle their love of live events.Beyond live performances, Crossed Wires features a variety of interactive workshops and educational programmes, catering to aspiring producers and music enthusiasts of all ages.While electronic music is ubiquitous in our lives today, music lovers of Waterford rarely get the opportunity to experience it live.
