KCA Calgary is a growing non-profit organization for Kenyan immigrants and friends of Kenya which was informally launched in 2007 to champion the issues of Kenyans both in Canada and in Kenya. Since its inception, the organization has assisted many Kenyan immigrants living in Calgary with different issues and taken on some issues in Kenya through the spirit of "harambee" (pulling together) as well as organizing events such as BBQs and other celebrations that have brought Kenyans together
