LifeCare provides a variety of invaluable and outreach services and social activities for older people across Edinburgh.These include Help at Home, which can assist with housework, laundry, shopping and running errands. Outreach/Care at Home, a registered care service for people aged 50 years and over, people with dementia and their carers. This service can provide personal care and companionship tailored to your needs.LifeCare has three clubs - The Dean is a day unit in Stockbridge that offers opportunities to socialise and included activities such as singing, quizzes and reminiscing. St Bernard's (Stockbridge) and the Cottage (Portobello) are day units who provides the same service but are for people with dementia who are 65 or over. Transport to and from the clubs, tasty hot freshly cooked meals and snacks are provided.Vintage Vibes is a project where we match volunteers with over 60s to offer long term friendship and companionship.All LifeCare services have a common aim: to improve people's quality of life - on a practical and emotional level - and enable them to continue to live as independent a life as possible.LifeCare is a charity registered in Scotland - Charity no: SC012641
