The Middle Atlantic Chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (MAC-AOSA)is a community of music educators who believe in the power of creativity, movement, and inclusive learning. We promote the Orff-Schulwerk approach — a playful, student-centered method that helps teachers bring music to life in ways that are meaningful and accessible for all learners. We’re committed to making professional development opportunities more accessible for music teachers. That’s why we raise funds to provide scholarships that help cover the cost of attending Orff-based workshops, conferences, and certification programs. Why It MattersWhen teachers grow, students thrive.By helping educators deepen their knowledge and expand their toolkit, we empower them to create richer, more engaging music experiences in the classroom. These scholarships allow teachers to bring fresh ideas, renewed energy, and inclusive strategies back to their students — reaching learners of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities and those in under-resourced communities. Every donation and event ticket helps us support the people who are shaping the future of music education — and in turn, the lives of countless students.
