Starting as a small committee focused on alcoholism education in 1946,Recovery Resource Councilhas become one of North Texas' largest nonprofit behavioral healthcare providers. Our mission is to promote wellness and recovery from disorders relating to alcohol, substance use, trauma, and mental health.Today, we offer a wide range of comprehensive services, including housing support, prevention and recovery programs, and veteran mental health counseling. Services are provided in person at our three campuses, at partner sites across 20 North Texas counties, and online via telemental health.The Council is licensed by the State of Texas as an outpatient treatment provider and has been accredited by the Joint Commission since 2014, ensuring the organization operates under a standard of excellence and is held accountable by routine monitoring.
