She graduated with honours from George Brown College, one of North America’s largest and best-equipped jewellery schools, earning a degree in Jewellery Methods. During her studies, Lais was recognized with an award for her continuous improvement and dedication to the craft. After graduating, Lais worked at a prestigious and established jewellery company in Toronto, where several of her designs were produced and subsequently featured on American television, further highlighting her talent and expanding her reach.
