Kempsey Shire Council is located in West Kempsey, NSW. The Kempsey Shire, also known as the Macleay Valley, is home to just over 30,000 residents with Kempsey being the major service town.With a strategic position mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane, the Macleay Valley is a featured destination of the Mid North Coast of NSW, spanning a geographic footprint of 3,338sq km from the hinterland to the coast.
